Fiat is ready to unveil its new brand Abarth Coupe a two-seater performance car. Abarth Coupe is ranked one among the best recital car for the year 2010. The earlier revealed product from Fiat, Abarth Punto and 500 variants have given a positive feedback from car lovers, which in turn have increased the expectations from its new Abarth Coupe. Based on the 500’s platform, the Abarth Coupe make use of a simple front-wheel-drive, front-engine layout and and switch gear straight from the 500 Abarth.
New model Abath, invokes a lightweight aluminium chassis and low-slung carriage ensure retaining the handling methodologies from its previous model. Whereas the compact dimensions make it wholly suitable for European roads to sustain the town’s traffic. The Italian sports cars style will be an added advantage for more buyers which in turn hit the sales target.
The Coupe power plant invokes a 1.4L turbocharged petrol engine with 135hp and 180Nm of torque. And the forceful ‘esseesse’ version implements 158bhp and 230Nm of torque. Sloping headlights and huge front air-intakes give Coupe a snarling face. The vent in the bonnet and the front wheels acts as a pace to match the car’s look. Abarth will be available both in white and red colour scheme with distinctive decals which mark the car out from the traffic. Another feature is Fiat’s Torque Transfer Control (TTC), which alerts the driver at the optimum moment to change gear.
